Summit Truck Bodies is part of the Trans-west Inc family of companies.
Summit Truck Bodies facility located in Wathena, KS. houses R&D, engineering, drafting, production, service, and parts.
All Summit Truck Bodies with a hydraulic crane have our Advanced Safety Control System. Electric cranes have different wireless control systems.
We design and build a premium product sold by a factory direct sales rep. We also provide superior service and supply parts from the factory.
You can find the available options on our website. However, you are not limited to what you see. Talk to your sales rep about specific needs.
Parts/Service & Warranty
Find the black placard on the passenger side of your truck above the wheel well. You will find your STE number engraved on the placard.
Summit Truck Bodies does not have a dealer network. You can purchase Summit Service Trucks and other truck equipment from a sales representative. Contact your Summit Truck Equipment territory sales representative for your field service equipment needs.

You can provide a chassis, or you can select a chassis from our chassis pool.
Summit’s lead time varies on what our production schedule and availability of the chassis.
Summit currently does not have or keep truck body kits that are ready to mount. We build to order, or you can see if we have any work-ready service trucks in stock that will meet your needs.

Yes, you can some make a change to your order within a specific time frame. We prefer you make changes in the design stage. However, you can add accessories and options after the truck is complete.
