Liebherr’s Custom Service Truck Highlighted at Conexpo

An Impressive 8 Series

A custom service truck for Liebherr Equipment Company was in the Summit Conexpo 2023 booth. The 8 Series service truck had a sleek appearance with bright white exterior paint shining under the show floor lights. The truck body was impressive, with a galvannealed 11 ft long body and 22-inch side packs. The 24″ workbench bumper, with built-in grip strut steps, makes it easy to access the 54″ wide cargo area. The aluminum bonded doors with full-length piano-style hinges opened smoothly thanks to the three-point compression door latches. The body has additional protection from the Line-X ultimate coating spayed in the cargo area, the front, rear, and lower edges of the body, and the bumper.

Inside, the aluminum drawer packages and bolt bin provided ample storage for tools and equipment. A reinforced torch storage compartment with adjustable aluminum shelves and a torch bottle retainer ensured safe and organized storage for welding gear. The truck’s LED lighting package illuminated every corner of the body. And the Nagy Fleet backup camera and Whelen Justice mini lightbar will provide added safety on the road.

Walking around this truck, you could see its 10620 telescopic crane. This crane is capable of lifting up to 10,000 lbs at 5 feet. The ASE Phase 4 control system makes operating the crane a breeze. And the hydraulic rear outriggers provide stability during use. A used oil system with a Lincoln 1″ diaphragm pump and Hannay Reels reel with a 3/4″ x 25′ suction hose was located in the rear driver’s side compartment. It quickly drains used oil Into the 100-gal steel tank. You would have also noticed Liebherr’s custom graphics package. Our sister company Yellow Frog Graphics, designed and installed, helps make the truck stand out.

Powered By the Ultimate All-in-one Solution

Furthermore, the service truck featured a Miller EnPak® A60GBHW all-in-one solution powered by a Kubota 24.8 hp diesel engine. The EnPak® includes a variety of control panels for user interface, weld output, auxiliary power, and battery charge/crank assist. It also has a rotary screw air compressor with 60 CFM at 175 psi and a 15 gal air tank. Powerful and Reliable

We mounted this custom service truck on the robust 2023 Freightliner M2 106 chassis. Setting it apart from other vehicles at the show, it is equipped with a Cummins® ISB6.7â„¢ engine delivering 300 horsepower. This truck can easily handle even the most challenging terrains through the Allison® 2500 Rugged Duty Seriesâ„¢ 6-speed automatic transmission. Freightliner installed an exhaust brake to keep the truck safe during downhill descents. It has a compact 90-inch cab-to-axle distance and features 22.5-inch by 8.25-inch wheels fitted with 11R22.5″ tires. With these features, the truck can last long and take on any job thrown its way.

The Liebherr Equipment Company’s custom service truck showcased in the Summit trade show booth was a marvel. The sleek white exterior with a custom wrap, impressive body, ample storage space, and powerful equipment make it a force to reckon with on any job site. We used the truck for a video project with Miller Enpak, highlighting the best of our products and how they work together.
